In the case of Dave Ramsey v. Christian Louboutin, the court finds in favor of the plaintiff, in the amount of FINANCIAL PEACE. Although the court appreciated the amicus brief of Becky Bloomwood, albeit on her pink scented paper, the court finds that the wisdom and practicality of Mr. Ramsey's position carries the day.
(full disclosure: The case of Ramsey v. Louboutin is wholly, completely and 100% fictional. Although if it were real, I'd totally wanna work for Louboutin. I'd be the best-heeled attorney in the States!)
Why, oh, why does it have to already be 2011? For me, 2011 means the hopes of financial freedom for the AFS household. Translation: no shopping unless for necessities or special circumstances, i.e. no needless pretties for AFS. :(
Our main resolution is that the Knight and I will vanquish our student loans this year. It will be exhilarating when we are done, but until then pretties like this tempt me oh so much.
This is the kind of shoe that makes me think that being debt free is highly overrated, and makes me want to trade in Financial Peace for Confessions of a Shopaholic!
No-nos for the Manolos,

Yay Dave! I took financial peace in college and have gone back twice! But I'm debt free and still don't have any Louboutins! Boo!
